Job description

Join to apply for the Distribution Center Loader role at NAPA Auto Parts.

This position involves staging, shrink-wrapping, and loading products by trip number and store number as received from the stockroom. It includes preparing palletized loads for shipment, ensuring safe transportation and storage, and assisting with pallet building and product selection for routes.

Responsibilities include:

• Staging products on pallets, shrink-wrapping, and loading onto trucks
• Inspecting trailers for suitability before loading
• Ensuring correct parts are loaded onto the correct trucks accurately and efficiently
• Operating pallet jacks or forklifts as needed
• Maintaining product integrity through proper handling and storage
• Keeping the work area clean for safety and efficiency
• Pulling stock orders and assisting with processing other shuttles
• Following all safety procedures and regulations
• Performing other duties as assigned

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or 6 months of work experience
• Forklift certification preferred
• Reliable attendance
• Clear communication skills
• Ability to recognize letters and numbers, both visually and aurally
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and push/pull up to 300 lbs. with aids
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and work on feet for entire shift

Work environment: Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and extreme weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
