Job summary

HD Supply in Dallas seeks a results-driven leader to manage all warehousing and transportation activities in our distribution center. You will partner with logistics and supply chain management to align with strategic initiatives and operating budgets.

You will lead a team of warehousing associates, recruit and train talent, ensure compliance with DOT/HAZMAT, manage budgets, and monitor inventory reports to prevent shrinkage while maintaining optimal service levels.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a related discipline; 7+ years of experience.
• Certification may be required; advanced degree may offset less experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop warehousing associates, including recruiting, training, and performance reviews.
• Ensure distribution center operations comply with internal policies and external regulations.
• Adjust staffing to meet service, budgetary and operational goals.
• Manage carrier services and DOT/HAZMAT compliance.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution.
• Contribute to annual operating budgets; manage facility profits and losses.
• Review inventory reports to prevent shrinkage and maintain accuracy.
• Forecast distribution needs for planning purposes.
