Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Distribution Center Leader in Minnesota to guide turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions. You will interface with customers, resolve issues, and drive strategic planning to elevate service levels and efficiency.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Master's degree preferred in Business, Logistics, Transportation or related field.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• Five or more years of managing, leading and developing direct reports.
• Three years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred.
• Customer interaction experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; able to build relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Distribution Center and supervisors responsible for turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions.
• Interface directly with customers regularly and resolve issues promptly while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Lead strategic operational planning and execution.
• Identify and solve operational issues through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Strengthen team unity, goals, productivity and results.
• Hire, supervise, develop and manage employee performance.
