Job summary

Codale Electric Supply, headquartered in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a Central Distribution Center Manager to lead a multi-department team, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient order processing and inventory control. You will drive continuous improvement and partner with site leaders to support strategic growth.

As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, you will oversee transportation, warehousing, and quality assurance, while managing budgets and ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
• 5+ years of progressive warehouse, distribution, logistics, or operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading transformational change and continuous improvement at the distribution-center level.
• LEAN and Kaizen initiatives experience.
• Fleet and transportation management experience.
• Experience with Eclipse ERP and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong working knowledge of federal DOT, safety, environmental, and OSHA standards.
• Demonstrated ability to create and manage annual operating budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and serve as an integral member of the Site and CDC Leadership Teams.
• Motivate, mentor, and coach CDC associates and department leaders; establish clear expectations and goals.
• Direct CDC departments and activities: receiving, storing, handling, picking, packing, shipping, Wire Shop, Fabrication, Transportation, Automation, PLS, QA.
• Ensure timely, accurate order processing, inventory control, and shipment execution.
• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, fleet, and transportation processes to optimize material flow and costs.
• Develop and improve warehouse operating systems, storage requirements, equipment utilization, and layouts.
• Aim for inventory accuracy and proactive order fulfillment with data-driven planning.
• Provide leadership for safety, DOT, OSHA, and environmental compliance; enforce policies.
• Collaborate with Sales and management to drive growth, strategy, and customer satisfaction.
• Develop budgets, identify savings opportunities and risks.
• Partner on process improvements using LEAN and Kaizen methods.
• Model servant leadership and foster talent development and succession planning.
• Operate forklifts and maintain required certifications.
