Job summary

Amarr Company in Memphis, TN is seeking a hands-on Distribution Center Manager to lead our warehouse and distribution operations. You will drive profitability, manage inventory, and work closely with sales and customer service to meet commitments.

This role requires 3+ years of warehouse leadership, budget/P&L experience, strong people skills, and a track record of process improvement. A college education or related experience and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse management experience (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Experience with budgets, P&L statements, and logistics.
• Experience with external customers in a flow-through warehouse.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal sales skills.
• Solid supervisory, leadership, and motivational abilities.
• College education or related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use power tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of program processes.
• Monitor measurements against budget and targets.
• Review cost of operations to enhance profitability.
• Provide excellent, courteous customer service.
• Staff, develop, supervise, and direct all exempt and hourly personnel.
• Lead Continuous Improvement efforts at the location.
• Oversee and verify warehouse shipments, inventory control.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and safety programs.
