Job summary

Amarr Company in Memphis, TN, part of the ASSA ABLOY group, is seeking a hands-on Distribution Center Manager to lead our facility and drive profitability. You will work closely with warehouse teams to deliver exceptional customer service and manage budgets, inventory, and staff.

The role prioritizes leadership, safety compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled environment. Monday–Friday day shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse management experience required (minimum 3 years preferred).
• Experience working with budgets, P&L statements, and logistics.
• Experience working with external customers in a flow-through warehouse.
• Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good supervisory, leadership, and motivational abilities.
• College education or related experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Mechanical aptitude and power tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily execution of warehouse programs and processes.
• Monitor budgets and KPIs to drive profitability.
• Manage staff and develop both exempt and hourly personnel.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives at the location.
• Ensure safety, security, and OSHA compliance.
• Oversee inbound/outbound shipments and inventory accuracy.
