Job summary

American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD) is seeking a Distribution Center Lead to oversee daily shift activities, coach warehouse associates, and ensure efficient operations across warehousing, transportation and inventory tasks.

You will monitor performance, train staff, and implement procedures to boost productivity and service quality. As a player-coach in a fast-paced distribution center, you will ensure safety, maintain equipment, and coordinate with management to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree required.
• 4-6 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility maintenance, equipment and inventory control systems.
• Champion safe working conditions and monitor adherence to warehouse protocols.
• Coordinate warehousing activities with management to ensure operational efficiency.
• Evaluate team performance, provide training and feedback to staff.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Record inventory transactions using manual or automated systems.
• Support SEAL Operating Systems to boost productivity and service excellence.
• Supervise daily activities of assigned shifts under the Distribution Center Supervisor.
