Job summary

Meals on Wheels of Southwest OH & Northern KY is seeking a full-time Distribution Center Associate to join our Cincinnati area team. You will package food orders for delivery, support the daily fulfillment workflow, and help maintain a safe, compliant distribution center.

The role starts at $16 per hour, includes medical, dental and vision benefits from day one, and offers paid holidays and PTO. A pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, to include THC/marijuana, and background check.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical.

Responsibilities

• Package food orders for delivery.
• Determine and pack meals for distribution to Meals Drivers.
• Complete an accurate daily log of product temperatures in multiple walk-in freezers and coolers.
• Maintain the Fulfillment and Distribution Center in a safe and compliant manner.
• Work with the Department Lead/Assistant Manager in coordination of meals ordering as needed.

We are an official member of Meals on Wheels America, and our regional organization is one of the largest in the country. Every year, we reach nearly 10,000 seniors throughout 13 counties with our services.The Meals on Wheels Distribution Center Associate is a full-time, Monday - Friday days only (beginning at 6 am) position in which the Associate will work in our distribution area to package the food for delivery to our Senior clients.Medical, dental and vision benefits available day one. Ten paid holidays per year and paid time off accrual starts day one.
