Job summary

FleetPride is the nation’s largest distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts. This Connecticut warehouse position supports branch and customer orders, stocking, and safe delivery from the local distribution center.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in shipping/receiving, forklift and reach truck experience, and a High School Diploma. Expect lifting up to 60 lbs and adherence to safety standards in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 2 years experience in shipping, receiving, shipment auditing, inventory control
• Forklift and Reach truck experience

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize branch and customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity as directed by picking ticket in priority assigned
• Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas
• Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools and equipment and storage areas to ensure safety
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
