Job summary

Tireco, Inc. in Fontana, CA is seeking a Distribution Center Associate. Responsibilities include counting, verifying, and placing pallets using an RF scanner, and picking and staging outbound pallets at dock doors with RF scanning.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED and 2+ years in a DC environment, with the ability to operate sit-down forklift and clamp. We offer weekly pay, vacation/holiday benefits, health and dental options, and a 401(k) with company matching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in a distribution center environment.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift and clamp.

Responsibilities

• Counts, verifies, and accurately places pallets of inbound product into correct bin locations using RF scanner.
• Counts, verifies, and accurately picks and stages pallets of outbound product at appropriate dock door using RF scanner.
• Completes all tasks in a safe and efficient manner to achieve and maintain productivity goals.
• Maintains cleanliness, order, and safety in the distribution center at all times.
• Complete daily inspections of material handling equipment (forklift/clamp) and always operate equipment with a 'safety-first' mentality.
• Assist with the picking and processing of parcel and/or LTL orders, which may require loading carrier’s trucks.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
