Job summary

About The Role

This entry‑level warehouse position involves pick, pack, and stock responsibilities to assist with single and multiple merchandise orders according to approved procedures.

Essential Job Functions
Pick
  • Assembles merchandise orders according to pick tickets
  • Ensures all orders are picked unless items are out of stock
  • Knows the location of all merchandise within the distribution center
  • Moves buggy to the packing line
Pack
  • Packs merchandise in accordance with customer requirements
  • Seals cartons using tape or other materials
  • Examines and inspects cartons and materials to ensure packing specifications are met
  • Marks and labels cartons using marking tools
Stock
  • Moves stock from reserve warehouse to active warehouse
  • Opens cartons using a cutting tool
  • Places merchandise in the proper location
  • Breaks down boxes using a cutting tool
Other
  • Reads and understands pick tickets
  • Maintains minimum productivity and quality standards while following safety procedures
  • Notifies supervisor of shortages of materials and/or product
  • Performs other warehouse duties as assigned

Education and Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Experience and Skills

More than six months but less than one year of relevant work experience preferred, but not required.
