Job summary

Envista is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Pomona, CA to move and store merchandise, pick and pack orders, and support distribution operations. You will use Voice WMS or scanning wand to accurately fulfill orders, perform Kanban audits, and maintain OSHA and SOP compliance.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, English proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while lifting up to 25 pounds and operating pallet jacks.

• Strong command of English (reading, writing, verbal).

Responsibilities

• Moves cases, crates, and merchandise using hand trucks, lifts, or forklift.
• Store and stage merchandise in designated warehouse areas; pick and pack as needed.
• Use Voice WMS or scanning wand to pick and build orders.
• Perform Kanban audits and report KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery).
• Pull materials from shelves, stock shelves, and prepare shipments.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions for material movements.
• Read and apply SOPs, MSDS, and other procedures; ensure proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Operate pallet jack or dolly; stand or sit for long periods as required.

Job Description:

• Moves cases, crates, packaged merchandise, and other material about a warehouse, between loading and storage areas by means of hand trucks, hand lifts, forklift, and other methods.


• Store merchandise in designated areas in the warehouse; packs, pull, and wraps merchandise when required.


• Pick orders using the Voice WMS or scanning wand


• Build carts using Voice WMS or scanning wand


• Perform Kanban Audits


• Present department's KPI's (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity) and understand Envista Business Systems


• Pull production work order materials from shelves, boxes and bins


• Stock warehouse shelves


• Prepare and pack all shipment orders


• Complete paperwork and computer transactions for all movement of material


• Verify quantities on hand


• Follow all standard operating procedures and job instructions in the shipping GMP Manual


• Prepare distribution paperwork by recording quantity shipped and the lot number shipped on the work order


• Pull orders from inventory, palletize and shrink-wrap or stage cases for shipment


• Ability to read and interpret documents such as Emails, safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOP's), master procedures (MP's), maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals


• Must be able to read and apply procedures in the materials data safety sheet


• Ensure proper handling of all hazardous/raw material


• Perform other duties as assigned or required by direct Manager
