Job summary

Hoshizaki America Inc. in Brea, California is seeking a Distribution Associate to support daily shipment and receipt of parts and finished goods.

You will maintain accurate inventory records, pick orders, prepare shipments, and ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety standards. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of shipping/receiving experience, and the ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience required.
• Ability to operate material-handling equipment (forklifts, pallet handlers, hand trucks).
• Ability to perform shipping, receiving, order picking, and shipment preparation duties.
• Ability to perform inventory/cycle counting and maintain accurate inventory records.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify orders, ensuring correct part numbers and quantities are picked.
• Process and coordinate shipments through carriers while maintaining records.
• Perform inventory management and monthly cycle counts with high accuracy.
• Monitor inventory and packaging supplies, flagging low-stock conditions to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse following safety procedures.
