JobsRUs.com is seeking a Distribution Associate for our client in Plainfield, IN. The role involves processing orders, scanning barcodes, picking and labeling boxes, and palletizing to prepare shipments.

Pay rate is $19.50 per hour, first shift Monday–Friday, 6am-2:30pm, with benefits and weekly pay available. A high school diploma or GED and 1 year of experience are preferred. RF/MHE skills are a plus; lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with MHE preferred.
• Able to obtain electric pallet jack certification.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.
• Palletize orders including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
• Processes orders using RF technology.
• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.
• May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.
• May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.
• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Work Environment

The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles. BD04123JD
