Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Distribution Associate to manage warehousing and distribution tasks for product shipments. You will process orders, scan barcodes, pick cases, label boxes, and palletize completed orders for shipping.

You will use RF technology and operate MHE to verify accuracy and package shipments. The role may involve dock manifest duties and acting as a back-up for other warehouse positions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of relevant warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with MHE is preferred.
• RF scanning experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.

Summary

The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehousing/material distribution tasks relative to the shipment of products.

Job Responsibilities

• Process customer orders including scanning bar codes, picking cases, and labeling boxes.


• Palletize orders including scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.


• Processes orders using RF technology.


• Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging.


• May be responsible for dock manifest duties which include scanning completed pallets and running shrink wrapper.


• May be responsible for operating the ground/manual manifest station.


• Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.


• 1 year of relevant experience, preferred.


• Experience with MHE, preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.


• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.


• Required to operate MHE and use an RF scanner.


• Basic analytical, organizational and prioritization skills.


• General distribution knowledge.

Work Environment

The noise level is moderate to loud. There will almost always be exposure to work near moving mechanical equipment, exposure to precarious situations and potential temperature excursions. Occasionally the position will have exposure to fumes/airborne particles.
