Job summary

ifm efector, inc. is hiring Distribution Associates in Downingtown, PA to pick, pack, ship and replenish orders in a fast-paced, paperless environment using wearable technology. This role is based in a brand-new, temperature-controlled distribution center with on-site amenities.

Candidates should have 1+ year distribution experience, strong math skills, ability to lift 40-50 lbs, reliable transportation, and a high school diploma or GED. Competitive benefits apply.

• Picking, packing, shipping, and replenishment orders using a paperless process and wearable technology.
• Additional responsibilities may include inbound receiving, quality inspections and value add activities as well as other miscellaneous duties associated with a distribution center position.
• Opportunities to cross-train in other distribution center functions.
• Hours are 10:00 am to 6:30 pm OR 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

This position resides in our brand new state-of-the-art distribution center located in Downingtown, PA. The brightly lit center is temperature-controlled, and has amenities onsite including a fitness center free to employees.

• Additional responsibilities may include inbound receiving, quality inspections and value add activities as well as other miscellaneous duties associated with a distribution center position.

• Hours are 10:00 am to 6:30 pm OR 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Candidate Requirements

• 1+ year/s of experience working in a distribution environment as a picker, packer, or in a similar role preferred.
• Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentages and fractions, required.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, pull, push and reach in varying amounts required.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs.
• Wearable technology on forearm and tethering to index finger for use of laser to scan storage bin locations for products. Weight of device is 1lb.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
