Job summary

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficient in designing and developing RESTful web services.
• Experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Expert in Java or other object-oriented languages; Python or Scala a plus.
• Strong multi-threading skills.
• BS in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Solve real business needs at large scale by applying software engineering and analytical problem solving.
• Architect and build scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with engineers, product managers, and TPMs.
• Collaborate with open source communities to shape Netflix OSS.
