Salesforce, Inc. is seeking an Architect to define strategy and technical direction for PKI and cryptographic identity across a global, multi-cloud platform. The role emphasizes hands-on work, security depth, and leading cross-team architecture decisions.

You will design highly available trust infrastructure, drive automation, and guide teams through complex trade-offs while mentoring engineers and presenting proposals to executives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years designing and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Deep expertise in reliability and performance at scale.
• Hands-on experience with mission-critical services on AWS or GCP.

Responsibilities

• Own the target architecture and multi-year strategy for certificate lifecycle and cryptographic identity.
• Architecture of highly available, globally scalable trust infrastructure with measurable SLOs.
• Drive automation-focused, cost-efficient architecture with zero-downtime migrations.
• Set standards for interfaces between trust platform and dependent infrastructure.
• Stay hands-on by prototyping and writing critical-path code in live systems.
• Present investment and architecture proposals to senior leadership and scale expertise.
