At CCaaS Platform, we’re at the forefront of designing and deploying Walmart’s next generation Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) platform. Our mission is to support all business functions while leveraging AI and GenAI capabilities to enhance agent experience, empower customers with self-service options, and reduce handle time in interactions.

We are seeking a highly skilled Distinguished Software Engineer to lead development of the multi-tenant Contact Center Platform and AI systems, and architect enterprise-grade microservices and pipelines. This is an IC role with approximately 80% hands-on coding.

What you'll do:

• Provide strategic guidance in system architecture and development processes.
• Prototype, research, and build mission-critical systems.
• Lead and mentor teams, fostering technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve technology stack.
• Stay updated on AI and software engineering trends, advocating adoption.
• Ensure delivery of scalable, resilient systems meeting business and customer needs.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and troubleshooting.
• Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and inclusivity.
• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade LLM-powered applications.
• Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases like Milvus or FAISS.
• Work closely with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Managers, MLOps/DevOps for model deployment and lifecycle management.

What you'll bring:

• Expert proficiency in Python or Java, with a record of high-performance ML code.
• Experience in end-to-end ML system development and deployment.
• Deep knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes for scalable ML services.
• Hands-on cloud experience with GCP or Azure and their AI/ML tools.
• Skilled in building scalable API services, distributed systems, and orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Strong SQL and data engineering skills.
• Proficiency with Git and agile team collaboration.
• Understanding of API design, testing, CI/CD, and observability for ML systems.
• Excellent communication skills to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• 12+ years industry experience, leading impactful AI/ML projects.
• Passion for MLOps, cloud-native tech, and scalable AI infrastructure.

Salary ranges vary by location:

• Sunnyvale, CA: $169,000 - $338,000
• Bentonville, AR: $130,000 - $260,000

Additional compensation includes performance bonuses, stock options, and benefits supporting an inclusive culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in CS or related field + 6 years’ experience.
Option 2: 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in CS or related field + 4 years' experience. Candidates with experience in web accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), assistive technologies, and inclusive design are valued.
