CVS Health's Developer Experience (DevEx) organization is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to provide technical leadership across platform engineering, developer tooling, and AI-enabled software development. This individual will define technical strategy and architecture for critical DevEx platforms while partnering closely with the Acceleration organization, including API Platform, Experience Platform, Feature Flagging, and Mobile teams, to ensure a cohesive and interoperable engineering ecosystem. The Distinguished Engineer will drive innovation in AI-assisted software development, influence enterprise-wide architectural decisions, and serve as a key contributor to CVS Health's open source strategy. This role requires a highly credible, hands‑on technical leader who can drive alignment, influence without direct authority, and elevate engineering excellence across the organization.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent work experience. Master degree preferred.
The typical pay range for this role is: $175,100.00 - $334,750.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
