Job summary

Heaven Hill is seeking a hands-on Production Associate at Widow Jane Distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. This full-time, onsite role runs Monday–Friday from 8am to 4pm and supports mashing, fermentation, cleaning, inventory, and general distillery operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a production setting, can safely lift up to 50 pounds, and follows established SOPs. A valid box truck license and forklift experience are preferred. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in brewery, winery, distillery, manufacturing, or production facility; beverage alcohol, brewing, distilling, food production or similar preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and comfort driving a box truck required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with production equipment, SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely to transport production materials and inventory.
• Safely operate a forklift for moving, loading, unloading, and organizing materials.
• Clean and sanitize production tanks following procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas.
• Complete daily cleaning routines for production rooms, tools, tanks, hoses, valves, and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals.
