Job summary

Sazerac in Tennessee is seeking a Production Assistant to join our distillery team, providing hands-on support from production through barrel filling on the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm). This role offers exposure to modern equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and a path to build technical skills across multiple production areas.

You will help ensure safe, efficient operations, monitor equipment, and participate in routine maintenance and quality checks while complying with safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support daily distillery operations, including material receiving, mashing, fermenting, distilling, charcoal filtering, barrel filling, and barrel handling.
• Operate and monitor production equipment, including forklifts and industrial machinery, while following all safety and quality standards.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning to help ensure reliable production.
• Maintain accurate production standards and assist in continuous improvement initiatives across the distillery.
