Job summary

Jetty Extracts in Oakland, CA seeks a skilled Distillation Technician to operate and maintain distillation equipment in our cannabis lab, ensuring efficient production of high-purity extracts under reduced pressure.

You will set up distillation processes, troubleshoot equipment, maintain detailed records, and collaborate with the lab team to meet production goals while upholding safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience operating distillation equipment, preferably in a cannabis or extraction lab setting.
• Working knowledge of laboratory safety standards and compliance procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate production records and follow SOPs consistently.

• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of distillation processes, results, and operational data.
• Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure efficient workflow and production goals are met.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Distillation Technician to join our Cannabis Lab to produce quality cannabis extracts. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining distillation equipment to separate and purify substances through distillation under reduced pressure. Your duties will include setting up and monitoring distillation processes, troubleshooting equipment issues, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining detailed records of operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, experience with vacuum distillation techniques, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
