Job summary

Superior Plus Propane is seeking a Distillates Delivery Driver responsible for the safe and timely delivery of distillates to customers. The role includes loading and unloading, maintaining safety standards, and conducting regular vehicle inspections to ensure reliability.

You will collaborate with the Dispatcher for routing, maintain a clean vehicle, and leverage technology to print tickets and track inventory. Overtime and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• DOT medical certification required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, load and unload distillates to customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized vehicle.
• Use technology to track inventory and print delivery tickets.
• Complete daily driver reports as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-vehicle inspections and site inspections.
• Coordinate with Dispatcher for routing and scheduling; escalate issues.
• Overtime may be required; on-call evenings/weekends may be rotated.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Distillates Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of distillates to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload distillates while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

What you’ll do:

• Transfer, collect, load and deliver distillates, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.
• Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/District Manager. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
• Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
• Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.
• Rotate “on call” status during evenings and weekends as needed
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferred
• CDL Class A or B
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Current DOT medical certification
• Distillate Delivery License preferred
