American Electric Power is seeking a Dist Line Crew Supervisor in Michigan to supervise a line crew and perform Line Mechanic A duties as needed. You will oversee safe construction, maintenance, operation and restoration of distribution lines, and enforce safety and company policies.
The role requires a High School diploma or GED, two years as Line Mechanic A, and a valid Class A CDL with state driver’s license; overtime and on‑call work are expected, with some travel involved.

Responsible to assigned Line Management for supervising the work of a line crew and performing the work of a Line Mechanic A. The type of work involves construction operation and maintenance of distribution, overhead and underground facilities. Activities associated with the performance of this work include planning procedures, directing or supervising assigned crew members, and exercising independent judgment.
