American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Line Crew Supervisor to oversee a distribution line crew, with duties including safe construction, maintenance, operation and retirement of distribution lines. You will mentor staff and perform Line Mechanic A tasks as needed.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, two years of Line Mechanic A experience, and a valid CDL (Class A) along with excellent safety and leadership skills. Overtime and on-call work are expected, with travel as needed.

Responsible to assigned Line Management for supervising the work of a line crew and performing the work of a Line Mechanic A. The type of work involves construction operation and maintenance of distribution, overhead and underground facilities. Activities associated with the performance of this work include planning procedures, directing or supervising assigned crew members, and exercising independent judgment.

Compensation Grade: SP20-008
Compensation Range: $47.59 - $61.87
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
