Baker McKenzie is seeking an associate attorney for the Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Dallas or Houston. This role supports its securities litigation, SEC enforcement, class actions, product liability, and complex commercial litigation practices.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent written and oral communication. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, briefing motions, and preparing for depositions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in dispute resolution or related litigation.
• Experience drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, briefing motions, and preparing for depositions.
• Large law firm experience preferred; clerkship with a federal court is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support securities litigation, SEC enforcement, class actions, product liability and complex commercial litigation teams.
• Draft pleadings, manage discovery, brief motions, and prepare for depositions.
