Job summary

John Deere in Dubuque, IA seeks a Display Systems Engineer to define display requirements and integrate displays with vehicle systems. You will work with software, design, vehicle, and validation teams to deliver seamless display solutions for construction and forestry equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree in software/engineering field required.
• Experience with display systems and user interfaces preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree as listed.

Responsibilities

• Define and document display system requirements, user workflows, and functional specifications to support customer and product needs.
• Develop and maintain subsystem requirements, interface definitions, and technical documentation for vehicle display systems.
• Coordinate integration of displays with controllers, sensors, diagnostics, telematics, and other machine systems.
• Support system verification and validation activities, including test planning, issue investigation, and requirements traceability.
• Collaborate with software, product design, vehicle, and validation teams to deliver integrated display solutions.
