John Deere’s Construction & Forestry UX Team in Dubuque, IA is seeking an Earthmoving UX Designer to shape intuitive interfaces for in-vehicle displays and web/app experiences. You will apply usability and UI processes, create design artifacts, coordinate UX activities, and collaborate with engineering to ensure features meet specifications.

A portfolio demonstrating prototypes and elegant UX solutions is required upon application.

Qualifications

One or more years applying User-Centered Design to moderately complex interfaces.
One or more years of visual interface design for web/mobile/in-vehicle displays.
One or more years collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, software, marketing).
One or more years translating customer needs into design and communicating it to tech and non-tech stakeholders.
Proficiency with design tools to create user interfaces.

Responsibilities

Apply usability, human factors, and UI processes to create intuitive experiences and support usability testing.
Create and maintain project and system design artifacts.
Plan, coordinate, and perform UX interaction design for diverse projects.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure features align with specifications.
Portfolio demonstrating ability to prototype and design elegant UX solutions is required upon application.
