Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a mechanical engineer for its Display Technologies group to design and develop innovative display modules for future products.

You will own integration of new materials, processes, and components into mechanically robust displays with high performance. The role requires cross-functional collaboration, design validation, and hands-on leadership to drive product readiness through development, ramp to manufacturing, and launch.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design and validation experience.
• Strong knowledge of materials properties, solid mechanics, and thermodynamics.
• Proficient in 3D CAD (Pro/E, NX, CATIA, SolidWorks).
• Experience with manufacturing methods and materials; failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define module mechanical architecture and interfaces with cross‑functional teams.
• Lead validation plans, supplier interactions, and regulatory-ready documentation.
• Support design through development, ramp to production, and product launch.
