Job summary

Havertys in Fairfax is seeking a design professional with a Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field and up to two years of related experience. You will work with inventory software and MS Office, especially Excel and Word, and may learn proprietary systems.

A knowledge of furniture styles and current trends is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with travel between Havertys locations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in interior design or related field; or two years related experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word; ability to learn proprietary software.
• Knowledge of furniture styles and current trends.

Responsibilities

• Work schedule: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software and MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word. Must be able to learn proprietary software.

Other Skills and Abilities

A knowledge of furniture styles and current trends is preferred.

Schedule- Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Traveling between locations required.
