Job summary

Job Description Summary: The Dispensing Operator is responsible for accurately weighing, measuring, and dispensing raw materials according to approved manufacturing instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The role supports production operations by ensuring materials are prepared accurately, safely, and on time while maintaining compliance with quality, GMP, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Material Dispensing & Weighing

• Weigh and dispense raw materials according to manufacturing instructions and batch records.
• Verify material name, lot number, status label, and required quantity before dispensing.
• Operate weighing scales and dispensing equipment accurately and safely.
• Label and transfer dispensed materials to production areas.
• Maintain material traceability throughout the dispensing process.

Documentation

• Complete dispensing records and related documentation accurately and legibly.
• Record material quantities and lot numbers in accordance with company procedures.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or material issues to supervisors.

GMP & Compliance

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, and company quality standards.
• Prevent cross-contamination by adhering to approved cleaning and handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dispensing area.

Safety

• Follow all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Safely handle powders, liquids, and other cosmetic raw materials.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. No college degree required.
• Experience: Prior manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is preferred but not required. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand basic English instructions, material labels, and batch documentation.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, or chemical production environment.
• Experience using weighing scales or material handling equipment.

Compensation

The anticipated compensation range is 10.00 - 35.00 USD Hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
