Job summary

Lynn Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Lynn, MA, part of Acadia Healthcare, seeks a compassionate LPN/LVN Dispensing Nurse for the outpatient MAT program. This per diem role focuses on medication dispensing in the dispensary with no bedside care, offering stable day shifts and early start times.

You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, document accurately, and maintain inventory under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an LPN/LVN license.
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health or outpatient MAT.
• Ability to operate medical equipment safely and effectively.
• Skilled in drawing blood and specimen collection.
• Proficient in EMR systems and clinical software.
• Competent in patient assessment and documenting vitals.
• Ability to monitor vital signs and administer medications as prescribed.
• Strong documentation and reporting of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of Nursing Supervisor and Clinic Director.
• Prepare and administer medications accurately and timely.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records.
• Maintain inventory and security of all medications per DEA/FDA rules.
• Dedicate ~90% of time to medication administration.
• Process urine and/or blood tests and monitor patient outcomes.
• Complete all procedures with accurate, compliant documentation.
• May transport medication or work on a mobile unit as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
