Job summary

Brockton Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Brockton, MA, is hiring a compassionate LPN/LVN to join our outpatient MAT program. The dispensing nurse will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, and educate families while collaborating with the clinical team to ensure safe, effective treatment.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to DEA/FDA regulations, and maintaining medication inventories.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN/LVN/RN).
• Prefer 1 year of nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment, or addiction recovery.
• Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) settings preferred.
• Skilled in drawing blood and collecting specimens for lab testing.
• Proficient in EMR systems and related clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, Medical Director, and Clinic Director while maintaining professional standards of care.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered by the Medical Director or Program Physician accurately and in a timely manner.
• Document medication administration and nursing care in patient records promptly and accurately.
• Ensure safekeeping and accurate inventory of all medication stock per regulatory agencies (DEA, FDA).
• Maintain precise accounting of all medication received and dispensed.
• Dedicate approximately 90% of work hours to medication administration; remaining time may be assigned to other duties.
• Conduct and process urine and/or blood samples, read test results, complete intake assessments, and assist in monitoring patient outcomes.
• Complete all documentation accurately and in compliance with clinic standards.
• May be required to transport medication to other locations or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
