Job summary

Terrabis is seeking a Shift Lead in Hazelwood, MO to guide Budtenders, open/close the dispensary, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent service. You will help educate patients, manage cash, and maintain a welcoming store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service experience; cannabis retail preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Willingness to learn about cannabis products and therapies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations is desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory controls to ensure full, comprehensive regulatory compliance across all dispensary operations.
• Ensure POS stations are clean, stocked, and ready to go at store opening.
• Ensure Budtender opening and closing checklists are completed in a timely manner.
• Always maintain proper cash handling procedures.
• Ensure all customers are greeted as they arrive and wished farewell at their departure.
• Ensure all customers always receive excellent customer service, in every interaction.
• Inform management and supervisors of any low-stock product or inventory issues.
• Have a comprehensive knowledge of cannabis products, the cannabis industry, and any relevant cannabis-related subject matter.
• Be knowledgeable of all sales and promotions, including in-store weekly/daily deals.
• Participate in staff events, outings, and promotional events.
• Read industry publications to keep up to date on current/future trends in the industry.
• Provide in-store new hire training and mentorship to incoming Budtenders with direction from Manager.
• Ensure your uniform is clean and that you are prepared for your scheduled shift.
• Perform other duties or projects, as assigned by managers.
