Position Summary

The Retail Associate collaborates with the dispensary’s management team to ensure every guest receives top-tier hospitality and experiences cannabis responsibly. Responsibilities include answering questions about cannabis laws, participating in community events, working all front-of-house (FOH) workstations such as Reception, Hosting, Sales Floor/Consulting, and Cashiering, as well as assisting with product organization, inventory control, guest communication, and working all back-of-house (BOH) stations including Receiving, Packaging, Stocking, Online Ordering, Order Dispatching, and Delivering.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Follow all site protocols and procedures according to local and state regulations and company policies.
• Act as a Mission brand ambassador with authentic engagement and productivity.
• Provide excellent customer service, offering recommendations on cannabis products, industry trends, and consumption methods.
• Accurately fulfill product orders and maintain clean, organized workstations.
• Handle guest transactions properly and securely.
• Assist with other duties to support team, department, and company success.

Compensation

• $17.00 per hour, non-exempt.
• Paid bi-weekly.

Position Schedule

• Open availability required.
• This is a part-time position.

Skills And Competencies

• Customer service experience, preferably in fast-paced or specialized retail.
• Proficient cash handling and POS system skills.
• Basic math, organizational, and computer skills.
• Self-motivated, able to follow instructions, work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking, problem-solving, flexibility, friendliness, and self-awareness.

Qualifications

• Retail experience, 1+ years (preferred).
• Cannabis industry experience (preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Valid government-issued ID.
• 21 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Dispensing Organization Agent ID Card as per state law.

• Physical exertion including lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for long periods. May involve climbing ladders, operating equipment, and exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, chemicals, and potential hazards.
