Overview

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) is seeking a Part-Time Dispensary Pharmacist for our Whitehall, PA location. The Pharmacist will provide excellent patient care, support revenue goals, assist in staff development, and ensure compliance with all regulations and protocols. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic about medical cannabis and committed to professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Become proficient with the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA policies.
• Conduct consultations via phone, in-person, and other approved methods, ensuring patients receive accurate and compassionate information.
• Mentor and motivate staff through ongoing training on compliance and products.
• Stay informed about medical cannabis research and product knowledge.
• Adhere to and promote a culture of positivity, professionalism, and compliance.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring customer service, safety, and security protocols are met.
• Guide patients on product selection, effects, dosing, and administration.
• Manage concerns or complaints diplomatically, reporting issues to the General Manager.
• Collaborate with the team to drive sales and ensure the dispensary remains the preferred choice among patients.

Job Requirements

• Successful completion of a BS Pharm or PharmD from an accredited university.
• Active medical/pharmacy license and registration.
• Knowledge and experience with cannabis products.
• Willingness to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Strong team management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a demanding environment with a focus on compliance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and multiple software platforms.
• Flexibility to work 15-29 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to educate the community and develop sales strategies related to medical cannabis.
