Job summary

PA Options for Wellness in Fogelsville, PA, is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the Dispensary Manager in daily operations, regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer service at our cannabis dispensary.

You will supervise staff, manage opening/closing procedures, oversee cash and inventory records, and help with hiring, training, and scheduling while staying current on state regulations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail supervisory experience.
• 1+ years of leadership in mid-sized teams.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management and reconciliation.
• Experience working in a heavily regulated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day activities and flow of dispensary related matters, including, but not limited to, employee oversight and management, customer service interactions, maintain records for dispensary interactions, order supplies, and perform inventory reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all transactions; escape issues to the General Manager and/or Director of Dispensaries as needed
• Perform cash handling duties including but not limited to preparing cash deposits, tracking and reconciling registers, completing cash/transaction tracking records/logs, monitoring status of inhouse ATM's; understand, escape, and communicate issues as they arise
• Record all sales and inventory transactions in accordance with state and local laws and regulations
• Track sales metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; attend manager meetings and communicate as needed directly with PAOFW leadership
• Maintain the electronic filing system by scanning, uploading, and saving paperwork in the appropriate folders
• Under direction from the General Manager, participate in the recruiting, training, development, and success of employees; r resolve conflicts, manage attendance and performance; maintain a positive attitude while leading by example
• Stay informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations, and industry news; this may be accomplished through continuing education, annual HIPAA Compliance training, etc.
• Maintain established standards of presentation, customer experience, and compliance
• Learn and participate in all operational aspects of employee management including writing schedules, managing time off and availability, approving and managing timecards
• Support retail operations through the intake area and retail/dispensary floor as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
