Job summary

Solar Cannabis Co. is seeking a detail-oriented Dispensary Entry Agent to greet visitors, verify IDs, and enforce safety procedures at the front desk. You will monitor entrances, operate cameras, and direct callers while maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

This role requires reliability, the ability to work nights and weekends, and a commitment to confidentiality. You’ll collaborate with the Dispensary Entry Agent Team Lead and manage incident reporting as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce the company’s safety and entry procedures.
• Greet customers, staff and visitors entering the building.
• Check identification of all customers and visitors before inside access.
• Monitor security cameras and alert management of potential diversion or safety breaches.
• Answer front desk phone and direct calls accordingly.
• Assist with snow removal and applying salt to exterior walkways.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

JOB TITLE: Dispensary Entry Agent

AUTHORITY & SUPERVISION:

• Reports directly to the Dispensary Entry Agent Team Lead
• Additional oversight by Assistant Dispensary Manager and Dispensary Manager

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and enforce the company’s safety and entry procedures
• Enthusiastically greet all customers, staff and visitors that enter the building
• Check identification of all customers and visitors before permitting them inside the building
• Monitor the security cameras and alert management of potential diversion or safety breaches
• Answer front desk phone and direct calls accordingly
• Assist with clearing snow and or applying salt to building exterior walkways, including any entrance or exit
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be proactive, have strong work ethic and pay great attention to detail
• Organizational and time management skills required
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Comfortable with handling confidential information

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must pass all required background checks
• Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends
• Must be, and continue to remain, fully compliant with all laws, regulations, and company policies
• Frequently moves up to 30 pounds of equipment/materials/product within rooms (100 pounds with assistance)
• This job function may include being in a stationary position or moving for extended periods of time.
