The Flowery in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Budtender to join our retail dispensary team. You will assist patients, manage orders, educate on products, and ensure compliance and confidentiality while delivering a welcoming experience.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour, with benefits, paid time off accruals, and paid holidays for full-time staff. You must be 21+, pass a background check, and meet scheduling and physical requirements.

• Pass a level two federal background check.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Able to meet scheduling requirements.
• Able to meet physical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Perform store opening and closing procedures (such as cleaning, tablet placement/removal, and prepping workstations)
• Create an environment prioritizing patients and providing excellent patient interactions
• Check in, verify and/or create new patient profiles upon entry to the dispensary
• Communicate to patients and caregivers their available allotments and MMJ licensing status
• Maintain confidentiality with patient information and interactions (on and off the clock)
• Control the pace of patient traffic within the dispensary
• Educate and assist patients in creating orders with product suggestions based on physician recommendations and patient needs
• Inform patients of current promotions or highlighted products
• Create patient orders and accept payment at POS
• Keep up to date with company brands, products, policies and procedures
• Budtenders may assist in occasional deliveries
• Maintain facility cleanliness and complete daily checklists on shift
• Other duties as assigned by management

• Communicate to patients and caregivers their available allotments and MMJ licensing status
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with patient information and interactions (on and off the clock)
• Controlling the pace of patient traffic within the dispensary
• Educate and assist patients in creating orders by providing suggestions in regard to available products based on physician recommendations and specific patient needs
• Informing patients of any current promotions or highlighted products
• Create patient orders and accept payment at POS using provided operating system
• Keep up to date with company brands, products, policies and procedures
• Budtenders may be asked to assist in occasional deliveries (scheduled and discussed ahead of time)
• Maintaining facility cleanliness and completing daily checklists while on shift
• Other duties as assigned by management

Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour. The Flowery offers benefits, paid time off accruals and paid holidays to all full-time employees.

• 21 years of age or older
• Can actively pass a level two federal background check
• Obtained a minimum of a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Can meet the scheduling requirements of the job (please provide restrictions in the application accurately)
• Can meet the physical requirements of the job
