Job summary

The Flowery in Venice, FL is seeking a Budtender to join our dispensary team. You will greet patients, verify profiles, explain products, and assist with orders at the POS while upholding confidentiality.

Starting wage is $16.00 per hour, with benefits, PTO accruals and paid holidays for full-time staff. Equal opportunity employer; must pass background check, be 21+, and meet scheduling and physical requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Create an environment prioritizing patients and excellent patient interactions.
• Check in, verify and/or create new patient profiles upon entry to the dispensary.
• Communicate to patients and caregivers their available allotments and MMJ licensing status.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with patient information and interactions.
• Controlling the pace of patient traffic within the dispensary.
• Educate and assist patients in creating orders by providing suggestions based on physician recommendations and patient needs.
• Inform patients of current promotions or highlighted products.
• Create patient orders and accept payment at POS using provided operating system.
• Keep up to date with company brands, products, policies and procedures.
• Budtenders may assist in occasional deliveries (scheduled ahead).
• Maintaining facility cleanliness and completing daily checklists while on shift.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

· Perform store opening and closing procedures (such as cleaning, tablet placement/removal, and prepping workstations)

· Create an environment prioritizing patients and providing excellent patient interactions

· Check in, verify and/or create new patient profiles upon entry to the dispensary

· Communicate to patients and caregivers their available allotments and MMJ licensing status

· Maintain the highest level of confidentiality with patient information and interactions (on and off the clock)

· Controlling the pace of patient traffic within the dispensary

· Educate and assist patients in creating orders by providing suggestions in regard to available products based on physician recommendations and specific patient needs

· Informing patients of any current promotions or highlighted products

· Create patient orders and accept payment at POS using provided operating system

· Keep up to date with company brands, products, policies and procedures

· Budtenders may be asked to assist in occasional deliveries (scheduled and discussed ahead of time)

· Maintaining facility cleanliness and completing daily checklists while on shift

· Other duties as assigned by management

Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour. The Flowery offers benefits, paid time off accruals and paid holidays to all full-time employees.
