Job summary

Greenleaf Apothecaries, a Canopy USA subsidiary, seeks a Dispensary Associate to greet customers, educate on products, and support daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will handle in-person and phone inquiries, assist with inventory, and help with cash management while upholding state regulations and company policies. A strong service mindset and teamwork are essential, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Qualifications

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable team player with availability for 2-3 Saturdays per month.
• Experience in a fast paced customer service role preferred.
• Medical Marijuana knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person and by phone.
• Accurately process POS transactions and verify order accuracy.
• Resolve inquiries professionally and diffuse stressful situations.
• Perform end-of-day POS closing procedures and report variances.
• Comply with SOPs, state regulations, and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with sanitization.
• Other duties as assigned.

About the Role: Dispensary Associate

The Dispensary Associate is responsible for interacting with, educating, and advising customers face-to-face and by phone, record-keeping, assisting with inventory and cash management and interacting with local service providers. The Dispensary Associate will be cross-trained in all order fulfillment activities which include preparing orders, entering product information, calling customers with product requests, checking ID’s and admitting customers. How You’ll Make a Difference

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers and communicate in a positive and friendly manner in person and on the phone.
• Accurately process all point-of-sale transactions and verify order accuracy
• Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism while diffusing stressful situations. Partner with a member of management for assistance as needed to ensure high standard of customer service
• Perform end-of-day closing procedures in POS system & investigate any variances at the end of shift. Report any variances to closing manager to ensure effective communication & resolution.
• Comply with standard operating procedures and State regulations as well as adhering to patient confidentiality and Company policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean & organized working environment and assist team in sanitizing work area and tools (phone, keyboard etc.)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills to be Successful:

Education And Experience

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
• Dependable team player with great work ethic and ability to work 2-3 Saturdays per month

Computers And Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Ability to learn, navigate and accurately utilize the company’s Point of Sale & Patient data management software systems
