Greenleaf Apothecaries LLC The Botanist in Canton, OH is seeking an Assistant Dispensary Manager to oversee daily dispensary operations, supervise lead agents and staff, and ensure compliance with state guidelines. You will manage inventory, cash handling, and customer service while coordinating with the Dispensary Manager.

Qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent, 1-2 years of management experience, and strong communication skills. Must be 21+ and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Support with audits and daily sales operations (cash reconciliation, reporting, audits).
• Ensure compliance with state guidelines on patient interactions/education.
• Oversee vendors and visitors; assist with education events and patient concerns.

About the Role (Assistant Dispensary Manager)

The Assistant Dispensary Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dispensary by overseeing and directing all day-to-day operations, including overseeing Lead Dispensary Agents, Dispensary Agents, Retail Inventory Leads, and Security Guards. The successful candidate will possess outstanding customer service skills, a problem-solving attitude, attention to detail, strong interpersonal and management abilities, and solid administrative/clerical and time management skills.

How you’ll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities)

• Assist with tasks with physical inventory including but not limited to: Order fulfillment, delivery intake, monitoring aging inventory, destruction oversight, reconciliations, and inventory discrepancies.
• Authorize product returns
• Assist with product recall processes
• Assist with the creation promotion development.
• Responsible for managing the daily menu based of the current inventory.
• Assist the Dispensary manager with required daily/monthly audits.
• Manage daily sales operations including but not limited to cash reconciliation, sales reporting, access inventory audits.
• Ensuring compliance with state guidelines regarding patient interactions/education.
• Oversight of any vendors and visitors.
• Assist with facilitating patient education events.
• Resolve patient concerns/requests
• Assist with staff conflict/coaching
• Assist with employee scheduling, recruiting, and onboarding
• Follow up on general building maintenance
• Scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.

Mandatory Qualifications: The successful candidate will need to be 21 years of age and in compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
