Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation strengthens Texas patients with safe, high-quality prescription cannabis and exceptional service. The Dispensary Associate is organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated to support dispensary responsibilities.

The role requires independence and teamwork, strict protocol adherence, and proficiency with point of sale systems to deliver outstanding experiences to every patient.

Qualifications

  • Ability to ensure all fulfillment activities align with HIPAA, local, and state cannabis regulations.
  • High standards for order accuracy, compliance documentation, and inventory audits.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, track orders, and ensure accurate fulfillment.
  • Experience with POS systems and digital inventory platforms.
  • Ability to design and improve workflows for order accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate team members.
  • Effective delegation, scheduling, and performance monitoring.
  • Ability to troubleshoot supply chain or inventory issues.
  • Comfortable navigating high-stress situations like regulatory inspections, shipment delays, or system errors.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage patients in a warm, welcoming manner and offer personalized recommendations.
  • Handle patient issues and complaints in a proactive and professional manner with patient retention in mind.
  • Uphold inventory control to minimize loss by complying with state and company procedures.
  • Learn and execute point of sale systems to set up patient profiles and check patients out.
  • Commit to being the Gold Standard in customer service by building and maintaining patient relationships.
  • Gather feedback from patients and communicate any questions or concerns with the appropriate departments.
  • Assist in educating potential patients on the Compassionate Use Program and how to become a Texas Original.
  • Daily compliance with dispensary policies including state/local regulation compliance, security, inventory tracking, dress code, schedules and HR policies.
  • Contribute to team environment and company advancement in alignment with Texas Original direction.
  • Other duties assigned.
  • Serve as the first line of defense for the company, interacting with customers via phone, email, and in-person to aid, answer inquiries, and resolve issues.
  • Process online orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely fulfillment and delivery. Assist customers with placing orders over the phone, providing product information, pricing, and availability as needed.
  • Execute daily order fulfillment tasks while adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and fulfillment practices.
  • Verify prescriptions, pick products, and pack orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

TheDispensaryAssociateis highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated toassistwithDispensaryresponsibilities.The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, as well as with a team, and follow strict protocols for accuracy and compliance.The candidate will be comfortable using point of sale system and electronic correspondence. TheDispensaryAssociate is arepresentativeof Texas Original and willpossessexceptionalcustomer service and communication skills as they can be the first contact for some of our patientsand therefore the face of the company. We also hope that our dispensary associate will help usidentifyways we can be more effective and efficient by contributing fresh ideas for improvement.


Essential Functions:
