Job summary

Glass America in West Valley City, UT is seeking a Dispatcher to lead and coordinate daily technician scheduling and parts flow. You will ensure customer vehicles are repaired on time and parts are sourced, ordered, and delivered accurately to shops.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate a team. You’ll collaborate with A/P, CSRs, and vendors, while maintaining inventory and driving efficiency across locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating parts/ supplies preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate, train and maintain compliance with company standards.
• Provide daily supervision and direction to all technician production staff.
• Coordinate returns and credits of parts and insure they are picked up daily.
• Order parts from select vendors and follow up on ETA dates.
• Support A/P with POP invoices and assist with invoice processing.
• Notify CSRs and team when parts are on back order status.

Qualified individuals, including those with disabilities and Protected Veterans, are encouraged to apply.Job Description:The Dispatcher position provides effective leadership, direction and motivation for all technician staff in order to insure that all customer vehicles repairs are scheduled in a timely manner according to Company standards.In addition, this position is also responsible for sourcing, ordering, receiving, and delivering parts to technicians in an accurate and timely manner. Inventory must be maintained and returns properly processed on a timely basis.PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESIncluding but not limited to:Educate, train and maintain compliance with company standards.Take the necessary actions to meet daily/weekly/monthly goals and objectives.Effectively communicate to all subordinates.Provide daily supervision and direction to all technician production staff.Initiate or suggest plans to motivate technicians to achieve work goals.Monitor the individual performance of the technician production staff on a regular basis.Fax, telephone or otherwise contact vendors to order parts and document conversations in management system.Compare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise.Follow up on parts back orders and document actions in management system.Coordinate returns and credits of parts and insure they are picked up daily.Provide the A/P Dept. with the POP invoices for appropriate purchases.Return and reorder damaged or defective parts.Contact vendors for credits and process appropriately.Notify CSRs and team when parts are on back order status.
