The dispatcher serves as the central point of contact between drivers, customers, law enforcement, and management, maintaining safety, efficiency, and clear instructions.

Qualifications

• Prior dispatch experience in towing, trucking, emergency services, or logistics.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in high-stress situations.
• Proficiency with dispatch software and GPS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prioritize incoming service calls from customers, law enforcement, clubs, and internal systems.
• Dispatch tow trucks and operators based on call type and location.
• Monitor driver status, job progress, and GPS locations for efficient routing.
• Communicate job details, hazards, and instructions to drivers.
• Document all call information in dispatch software.
• Coordinate with police, fire departments, and DOT during accident recoveries.
• Provide ETA updates and resolve customer issues.
• Maintain knowledge of service area and traffic patterns.
• Assist with after-hours or emergency dispatching as needed.
• Support office operations with administrative tasks.
