Job summary

Crane Cartage LLC in Groveport, OH seeks a dispatcher to coordinate driver assignments, ensure DOT compliance, and maintain shipment paperwork. You will notify drivers of tasks and monitor progress to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires communication, data entry accuracy, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma or GED and related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local geographic market.
• Accurate typing skills and/or data entry skills.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Responds promptly and professionally to client needs.
• Read, comprehend and complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Good vision and depth perception required.

Responsibilities

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 to 3 years, related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
