Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics in Groveport, OH is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate driver movements and ensure client commitments are met. The role requires timely communication with drivers and accurate documentation.

You will handle DOT compliance, maintain shipment records, and respond to client needs with professionalism. Minimum 1–3 years of related experience and a High School Diploma or GED are required. A supportive benefits package is offered.

• Industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Client needs and commitments are met
• Dispatch drivers and respond to Drivers calls
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked up and delivered
• Maintain information on shipments and ensures proper paperwork required
• Update data base on all dispatched move
• Other duties as assigned

• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Good vision and depth perception required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 to 3 years, related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
