Job summary

Crane Cartage LLC is seeking a dispatch-focused role in Groveport, OH to coordinate driver assignments, manage shipment information, and ensure DOT compliance. The position requires strong data-entry skills and reliable communication with clients and drivers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensures Client needs and commitments are met.
• Dispatch drivers and respond to drivers calls.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
• Notify drivers of assignments and direct their activities to ensure cargo is picked up and delivered.
• Maintain information on shipments and ensure proper paperwork required.
• Update database on all dispatched moves.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Good vision and depth perception required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 to 3 years, related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience preferred.

Certifications & Licenses

• Professional certification may be required in some areas.
