Job summary

Inspira Health Network in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Dispatcher to coordinate the movement of patients and transport resources across its facilities. The role requires strong communication, meticulous record-keeping, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, in-person environment.

You will serve as the primary liaison between hospitals, facilities, patients and insurers, handling intake and dispatch for Inspira and contracted providers while ensuring timely, safe transfers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Experience in a dispatch or hospital setting preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Disptach transport requests from Inspira facilities and contracted external facilities.
• Act as liaison between hospitals, facilities, patients, insurance companies and Ground Transport.
• Coordinate intake and dispatch to ensure timely patient transport.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and scheduling information.
